Arrival in Tbilisi

On arrival at Tbilisi international airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel for a night's rest before starting your adventure. Take advantage of this first evening to soak up the unique atmosphere of the Georgian capital.

After breakfast, off to Gori, Stalin's birthplace, for a photo opportunity in front of its historical museum. You will then visit Uplistsikhé, an ancient troglodyte city where you will discover caves dating back more than 3,000 years. In the afternoon, head to Château Moukhrani for a tasting of Georgian wines in a sumptuous setting. Return to Tbilisi for the night.

Mtskheta - Tbilisi

Start the day exploring the ancient Georgian capital of Mtskheta, with its UNESCO-listed sites: the Djvari monastery and the Svetitskhoveli cathedral. Back in Tbilisi, you can visit the sulphur baths, the Narikala fortress and other historic gems of the old town. In the evening, immerse yourself in the enchantment of the Christmas markets for shopping and tasting before New Year's Eve. An optional New Year's Eve dinner at the hotel is available at an additional cost.

Happy New Year! After a festive breakfast, set off for the wine-growing region of Kakhetia. Visit the picturesque town of Sighnaghi with its ramparts and splendid views, then the monastery of Bodbé, the resting place of Saint Nino. Enjoy a traditional lunch with a local family and take part in a workshop to make Gozinaki, a Georgian delicacy made from nuts and honey. Return to Tbilisi in the evening.
