After a hearty breakfast, you'll set off to discover Managua, Nicaragua's vibrant capital. Explore the historic quarter, visit the cathedral and stop off at the Mirador de Tiscapa, from where you can enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of the city. Next, head for León, the former colonial capital. On the way, enjoy the magnificent scenery around the Momotombo and Momotombito volcanoes. Stop off at the ruins of León Viejo, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and discover the remains of a city destroyed by volcanic eruptions.

Accompanied by a local guide, you'll climb this active volcano, one of the youngest in the world, and come back down on a sandboard for a guaranteed adrenalin rush.

Today, you'll set off on a hike along the marked trails of the Mombacho volcano. The biodiversity of this region is impressive, with over 120 species of butterfly and numerous mammals. Then it's on to Masaya, famous for its craft market and its national park, home to the Masaya volcano, one of the most accessible volcanoes in the world. Finally, discover the ancestral techniques of chocolate production in a small local community.
