Departure from your region to arrive in Vilnius, capital of Lithuania, in the early afternoon.

Pick up your rental car and drive to your hotel about 7km from the airport.

Free time to settle in and find your way around the old town

Day 2

Discover the historic centre of Vilnius at your own pace: cobbled streets, pastel facades and elegant Baroque churches.

The Church of St. Peter and Paul, Vilnius Cathedral, the University (open-air space) and one of its rooms, the Catholic Church of St. John, the Orthodox Church of the Holy Spirit
- Discovery of the "Republic of Uzupis" (open-air space).

Climb to the top of Gediminas Hill to see the sunset over Vilnius. You can get there on foot or by funicular.

Day 3

On the way to the Baltic coast

Breakfast. Departure for Kernave (40 km), known for its archaeological site classified by UNESCO as world heritage.

Continuation to Trakai, the former capital of Lithuania (40 km). Discovery of this small town with its typical houses, the kenessa, place of prayer of the Caraïtes, the smallest ethnic minority of Lithuania, and the medieval castle on the water, containing a historical museum (entrance 3.5 euros).

Continuation to Kaunas and its medieval castle without forgetting the unusual little Devil's Museum which retraces Lithuanian mythology linked to the Devil.

Then drive to Klaipeda (approx. 2 hours)

The Curonian Spit

The Curonian Spit

Breakfast.

Departure to the Curonian Spit by ferry, drive to Nida (55 km), visit of Juodkrante, visit of "Raganu kalnas" (Witches' Hill) on the way (The Curonian Spit: narrow by 1.5 km and 98 km long, of which 51 km are in Lithuania) Formed 5000 years ago by the effects of wind, sea and sand. It is the Lithuanian Sahara, a World Heritage Site.

Return to Klaipeda and overnight at the Hotel

Day 5

Klaipeda - Palanga-Siaulai -Rundale-Riga

Breakfast.

Departure for Palanga (30 km), walk in this seaside resort, proud of its botanical park (work of the French landscaper Edouard André) and its national museum of amber, possibility of swimming.

Continuation to Siauliai (120 km), stop to visit the Hill of Crosses (14 km north of Siauliai).

Departure for Latvia.

Arrival in Rundale and visit of its baroque palace, built by Rastrelli.

Continuation Riga (80 km)

Check-in and overnight at the hotel.

After breakfast, walk through the historic centre:

- Interior visit of the Central Market in Riga
- Visit to the Dom (Lutheran cathedral)
- Visit to the church of St Peter

- Cruise on the Daugava River

Departure to Gauja National Park (55km), visit of the park and Turaida Castle (history museum).

Continue to Estonia along the Baltic Sea.

Arrival in Parnu (175 km), a Hanseatic city, a famous seaside resort and the country's summer capital.

Continuation to Tallinn (130 km).

Arrival and overnight in Tallinn.

Few cities in Europe have managed to preserve their 14th and 15th century remains like Tallinn. At the heart of the city is the old town (Vanalinn), which is divided into two very distinct parts: Toompea (the hill that dominates the city) and the lower town, which extends to the east of Toompea.

-Interior visit of the Alexander Nevsky Orthodox Cathedral
- Interior visit to the Lutheran Cathedral of St. Mary

-The Raeapteek, one of the oldest pharmacies in Europe still operating in its original location.

-The Balti Jaam market is a great place to buy local food and soak up the atmosphere of the city.

-St Catherine's Passage is located in the historic centre of Tallinn and is lined with craft workshops.

In the evening, explore the bohemian district of Kalamaja, with its colourful wooden houses and lively cafes and restaurants.
