Early in the morning, you leave for Kandy. On the way, stop in Matale for a visit (free) to the spice garden. Discover the island's last royal capital, Kandy: the Temple of the Tooth, a sacred Buddhist temple, a walk around the lake (approx. 4km), a very lively market, sometimes crowded with touts, but well worth the diversions for the diversity of products and the atmosphere. Continue into the surrounding countryside, close to the Knuckles Range. Settle into another Eco-Lodge in the heart of nature: you will sleep in a tree house. Dinner on site.

Hiking

We suggest you set off early in the morning for a walk in the Knuckles range, a protected natural area. You can wander freely or use the services of a naturalist guide (optional). You climb slowly towards the first plateau, then arrive at the foot of the mountains known as Knuckles, because of their shape, which resembles a closed point. Opportunity to see a beautiful waterfall on the way. Continue into the heart of the mountains. Great variety of birds. Return to your Eco Lodge. Dinner and overnight stay.
