Departure from Paris (or province) arrival in Dubrovnik or other nearby Croatian airport -arrival in Dubrovnik in early afternoon
Transfer from the airport to your Guest house or minimum 3* hotel (subject to availability)

Free morning and meeting at Dubrovnik Gruž port for check-in from 14:00.
After check-in, transfer to the city gates for a guided tour of the city. The special charm of this ancient city are the buildings that remain from the time of the former Republic of Dubrovnik. Most of the monuments belong to the modest Renaissance architecture with traces of Gothic style.
Take the cable car from the old town to Srd Mountain to enjoy the panoramic views of the walls and the Elaphite Islands. After the tour, transfer to the ship for welcome and a cocktail on board.
Overnight in Dubrovnik.

Departure from the port of Dubrovnik Gruz at 13:00 to a small village called Slano on the mainland. Lunch is served while you sail along the Dalmatian coast either to one of the Elaphite islands - Šipan, or to the small village Slano on the mainland. Enjoy the magical scenery as the ship sails around the city walls of Dubrovnik.
Both are peaceful fishing villages where there is often a fabulous sunset. Overnight at the port.

Early in the morning you will sail to the small island of Biševo and visit the blue cave, a beautiful natural phenomenon. As weather conditions can be very unpredictable at times, our visit depends on the current conditions, but you will be informed by the crew. The entrance fee to the Blue Cave is to be paid on the spot (approx. 14 EUR per person).
Then you will continue to the island of Vis, which has a unique geographical position and was once a strategic port for the Yugoslav navy - it was closed to the public until recently.
If you're interested, visit the remains of the Roman spa square, the town museum or simply take a stroll and enjoy the view of the beautiful rustic villas along the waterfront. For those wandering to see more - hire a car or scooter and explore this wonderful island on your own

Arrival on the island of Hvar

Your next destination is the small island of Šćedro near the island of Hvar where you will have time to relax and refresh yourself in the crystal clear blue sea.
Then departure for Hvar after lunch followed by a guided tour included in the services. Hvar is the longest island in the Adriatic. Here is the magnificent Renaissance cathedral with its original tower; it is also the oldest community theatre in Europe which was founded here in 1612.
The town of Hvar offers many restaurants, bars, cafes and clubs, open until late at night. Hvar is often called the island of sun and jet-set.

After leaving Hvar, you will continue your cruise to the island of Brač, heading for the town of Bol, known for its famous Zlatni rat (Golden Horn) beach, a natural phenomenon that, with its distinct horn shape, dominates other beaches in Croatia. Directional winds and waves often change the shape and size of the beach.
After the bathing break at the horn, discover Makarska with its Mediterranean atmosphere. During a walk, you will discover many churches and other architectural and cultural sites. Overnight at the port.

Early morning departure to Pučišća, a typical place, located on the northern side of the island of Brač at the bottom of a deep bay. This place is home to the famous Brač white stone. It is possible to visit one of the few remaining stone masonry workshops in Europe.
Then the journey continues to Omiš, a picturesque town surrounded by steep rocky mountain cliffs, where the Cetina River flows into the Adriatic Sea, ideal for rafting on the streams of the Cetina River. Omis has a famous heritage of piracy!
For the evening, a "Captain's dinner" is planned. Night in port

Depart for your final destination, the city of Split, where the old town and Diocletian's palace are under UNESCO protection. Diocletian's palace is 1700 years old and the emperor chose this place for his retirement villa.
On arrival, you will join a guided tour of Split with an English-speaking guide.

After an early breakfast on Saturday morning, it's time to say goodbye to the crew and your new friends. We'll try to schedule a late afternoon flight, giving you time to enjoy the last few hours of the morning, strolling around and doing your final shopping.

Climate and equipment

The best time to visit Croatia is during the spring, summer and early autumn, from late April to October. The climate is Mediterranean.
Light clothing, warm clothes for the evening.

Health

No vaccinations are compulsory. However, diphtheria-tetanus-polio +/- whooping cough vaccinations are recommended, as is preventive vaccination against hepatitis A and B.
If you wish to venture into the forested areas of Croatia, preventive vaccination against Central European tick-borne encephalitis may be advisable.

Formalities

PASSPORT & VISAS

From 7 April 2017, as part of the strengthening of controls at the European Union's external borders, systematic identity checks at Croatian border posts, on entry and exit, including for EU nationals, are being introduced under the reform of Article 8-2 of the Schengen Borders Code.
Croatia, a member of the European Union since July 2013, is not yet a member of the Schengen area: valid identity documents are required to enter or leave Croatian territory.
All travellers under the age of 18 must therefore be in possession of a valid passport or national identity card covering the entire duration of their stay.
