Arrival in Chania
Breakfast at the hotel, then drive to Chania.
Chania is the capital of the Hania region, and is much less modern than Heraklion. Chania offers plenty of opportunities for strolling through its picturesque quarters, where the Turkish occupation and the Venetian period have left their mark, and where the architecture is flamboyant... The port is the perfect place for a bite to eat. Finally, the city has a number of museums: archaeological, Byzantine, naval, etc., an unmissable covered market, the leather street where you can do a bit of bargaining, the public garden which acts as a mini zoo and, of course, the beaches to the west of the city...
Check-in at the Porto del Colombo hotel in a standard room for 2 nights with breakfast.
The Porto Del Colombo Traditional boutique hotel is ideally located in the heart of Chania's old town, within walking distance of the new town centre, the main shopping streets and the central bus station. It is a 9-minute walk from the beach.
Free day and meals.
