After discovering the Dégbénou district and its community in the morning, you will visit Aného to familiarise yourself with the town. Then lunch. In the afternoon, you will take part in a workshop to prepare plantain fritters. The bananas will have been purchased in advance to support the family, who will teach you how to prepare the fritters.

Rest of afternoon free. Dinner and overnight at the association.

A fishing trip awaits you on the beach at Aného. You can give the fishermen a hand by pulling in the nets with them to the rhythm of the gongs. Of course, all work deserves a reward, and the fishermen will give you a few fish for your efforts. Then lunch. Back at the association, the cook will prepare the fish that you will share with the association's neighbours after dark.

Head for the region's biggest market, held just once a week, every Tuesday, where you'll find everything from textiles and cosmetics to fruit and vegetables and spices. It's a great opportunity to pick up bargains and try your hand at Togo's national sport: bargaining. And don't forget to try the national dish sold everywhere: Ayimolou.

Accompanied by members of the association and a farmer, the afternoon's mission will be to plant seeds of local species adapted to the region's climate and soil. as the samba, l' irokoand fruit trees such as the mango tree and the papaya. These trees will not only help to restore the local ecosystem, but will also provide fruit and timber for the community.

Volunteer day at the Divine Providence orphanage in Aného. The VRAT association has been supporting the orphanage since it was founded, and has always provided volunteers whenever the orphanage team needs them.

You will spend a day in complete immersion in a school in Aného. After distributing school supplies, if possible in your suitcases, you will create activities for the children, accompanied by members of the association.

The day begins with an excursion by pirogue from Aného to Djenkessé, with the opportunity to observe the monkeys by buying fruit upstream.

Arriving in Djenkessé, transfer by car to Togoville, where a local guide will introduce you to this town steeped in history and steeped in spirituality. The tour ends at the Adanu craft centre, where you can buy works made on the spot by local artists and talk to them to find out more about their crafts.

Departure by bus for Atakpamé, nicknamed the "city of seven hills", situated in the Plateaux region. Nestling between mountains and greenery, this charming town offers a pleasant climate and peaceful surroundings. Renowned for its crafts, notably traditional kente weaving, Atakpamé is also a cultural crossroads rich in history. After the transfer to the hotel and a well-deserved meal, you will visit Atakpamé and its market, accompanied by a local guide. Return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Departure by bus for Kara, situated in the north of Togo. Kara is a dynamic town surrounded by green hills and remarkable natural landscapes. Renowned for its cultural richness, it is the heart of the Kabyès region, an ethnic group famous for its voodoo and craft traditions, particularly pottery and weaving. After a transfer to the hotel and a good meal, head for the Djamdé elephant reserve. You can interact and take photos with them, and even observe lions in a vast enclosure.

Discover the Tamberma castles of northern Togo. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, these castles are a series of impressive fortifications built by the Tamberma, an ethnic group from the region. Meeting the Tamberma also means exploring breathtaking landscapes. From majestic mountains to verdant plains and crystal-clear rivers, the region is bursting with natural treasures.

Departure in the afternoon for the final destination, Kpalimé. Transfer to the hotel. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Departure at 9am by motorbike taxi to visit the Kuma Tsame bat valley, 10 minutes away. You will be guided by a local expert who will explain the specific characteristics of these bats and their essential role for the surrounding community. After a tasting of fresh cocoa pulp on the way to the valley, the short walk ends with a fascinating spectacle: a swarm of bats soar above the trees in the valley, a masterly flight orchestrated by the guide, who knows perfectly well which tree to hit to get them off the ground.

At 10am, head for the Kpalimé craft centre, just 15 minutes away by motorbike taxi. After visiting the centre, don't hesitate to do a little shopping. The visit to the centre ends with an art workshop where you can create your own works of art.

Lunch.

13:30, departure for the Kpimé waterfall. A driver will take you there, as the road is very rough, but the scenery is magnificent.

The side of the waterfall is steep, but a number of steps lead down to the basin where the waters from the top of the mountain spill over. Surrounded by dense forest, the waterfall is set in lush, wild surroundings, offering a breathtakingly paradisiacal landscape. Swimming here is particularly pleasant and revitalising. The climb back up the stairs can be long, so take your time and rest on the benches set up along the way.

Return to the hotel.

Back to Lomé.

Visit the legendary Assigamé market in Lomé. The Assigamé market, a must-see in Lomé, covers a large part of the city, creating a lively atmosphere. Here you'll find an impressive variety of products: ingredients and utensils for preparing local specialities, as well as colourful clothes and fabrics for the fashion-conscious. And if you fancy a taste of the local cuisine, there are plenty of street food vendors offering takeaway delights. To round off your visit to the market, make sure you visit the Sacré-Coeur Cathedral in the heart of the market.

After visiting the market and the cathedral, head for the fetish market. Here, fetishists, or traditional healers, offer services for divination, healing, protection rituals and other aspects of animist beliefs. This market plays an important role in local culture, as many people come here to resolve personal, emotional or professional problems through rituals or prayers.

Lunch.

Visit the National Museum in Lomé, Togo's cultural jewel, a must-see place to discover the country's history and riches. From traditional sculptures to ritual artefacts, vibrantly coloured textiles, authentic musical instruments and everyday objects that bear witness to ancestral know-how.

Return to the hotel.
